Okay basically, Hamlet 2 is an attempt to see how blasphemous of a movie people can make. The movie uses phrases such as “Rock me, sexy Jesus” and even at one point “Jesus” said something along the lines of “If my father say this he would crucify me”. Its just infuriating to see how stupid and offensive our society is. To make it worse, Microsoft is advertising it on their website and xbox live which makes them a bunch of hypocrites because you are not aloud to use the words “God” or “Jesus” in your gamertag or motto. Thats just something for you to think about.

Nice Glenn, Keep showing the gamer world their own hypocricy. It’s about time some people stand up for truth within an industry where everything goes without criticism. The gaming world needs to hold some social responsibility for the societal effects it has within our communities.

Yeah this really ticks me off too and as soon as I read about it I left feedback to Microsoft directly. People will make films like this regardless and that doesn’t bother me because I can make my own decision about seeing it, what does bother me is that it’s being advertised to me in my own house when I’m a paying subscriber to xbox live. Shame on Microsoft!

I understand your point of view, but can’t say I agree with it. The purpose of this and other pieces in its genre are to be satirical and generate laughs using that as a trampoline. You can be satirical, and not being offensive…yep, at the same time, if you can believe it. I guess it’s, as everything, “in the eye of the beholder”.

That is true, you can be satirical and not offensive at the same time but there are some issues that you shouldnt really joke around. Religion being one and rape being another.
I love satirical movies and I usually never get offended unless it really hits something sacred or one of those issues that shouldnt be messed with.

yeah i seen the preview of that movie and it really is blasphemous, and microsoft uggggggh!!! 1st. my xbox got Red Rings AGAIN FOR THE THRID TIME, becuz even though the are they got the money they are to cheap to buy a good graphics card. so they decide to make one which over-heats to the littlest source of heat. 2nd i wish microsoft points were cheaper. 3rd if any PS3 person is reading this XBOX 360 will always destroy you. WE GOT THE GAMES TO PROVE IT!
